Starting but not Finishing.. Topic


I have been here before and now I am going back! I work out and eat right for 3-4 weeks then break back into my bad habits when I dont see progress. Is it just me? I feel like there has got to be something out there to show me the right numbers on my scale that will motivate me to move forward. Any suggestions?


I know exactly what you mean. I feel like there is no way I could work out anymore or eat any less and somehow I still get no results. So frustrating!!! I do have a blood sugar which makes it very difficult to loose weight (even though I don't even get to eat carbs and sugars). Not to mention I live with three girls that could eat anything they want and not gain a pound.So sticking to a diet and workout schedule is very hard for me. I've found that eating lots of veggies to help keep me full throughout the day is the best. Also whenever I get home from work and just want to relax I push myself to go to the gym. Pretty soon the gym will feel like a nice rest from work rather than work itself.

Another big thing that I noticed when I first started dieting and working out a lot is that I did not loose any weight!!! I was so upset and would get discouraged but when I pushed past that I found that it wouldn't start loosing weight until a few weeks of dieting.

I think the most important thing is to stay positive regardless of what results you are getting. If you are eating better and working out more but still not getting the results you want right away at least you are becoming more healthy.
