Hi everyone. I am 37yo and I come from Greece. I wanted to share my experiences and some thoughts. I have recently started using MNP and I have to say that it is really rewarding and satisfying. I have had what many would consider "best" and "exclusive" nutritionists and dieticians over the last three years. They would make for me really amazing diet programmes, based on calories, nutrients, biological products, not red meat etc. But still, after some time, i would loose interest and stop following their regimes. I have managed to loose 24lb the "nutritionist" way (and exercising). And then, i just had no interest to go on. Now i know why. I lost interest after some time, because someone else was telling me what to eat and someone else was making the food for me. So, I had no idea what i was eating, why I was eating it and what it did for me. And this is the diference with MNT. For the last two weeks, I know what i am eating, I prepare it myself, I take into consideration the nutritional values and I log everything I consume. And this "routine", gives me -for the first time in my life- the power of control, of choice and of deep, substantial knowledge over food. I feel sure that I will reach my goals and strong with everything I learn each day. And the most important is this. I do not feel the need to eat what is not good for me... cause I know HOW it affects me. I have 14lb to go to reach my perfect weight. The last and REALLY difficult pounds to loose! I would really much like to hear your thoughts, ideas and tips. I wish to you all the strength you need! S
