Tips to prevent binge-eating! Topic

When you want to avoid a binge, make sure that you aren’t just avoiding genuine hunger. You should eat if your body is aching for it.

1. Play a high concentration video game! A game that will make your brain think, and distract you from food.

2. Go outside, and appreciate the nature! Go cloud watching, or water some plants.

3. Read a book that piques your interest. I promise your eyes won’t leave the page.

4. Pamper yourself! Whether that’s taking a warm bath, putting on some makeup, or learning a new hairstyle, it’s up to you!

5. Turn on your favorite playlist, and sing your heart out.

These are just a few activities that you may do to avoid a binge! I have recovered from disordered eating, and these helped me tremendously. If I can do it, so can you!

I was constantly snacking through the day and only way could stop was, occupying my mind with something else.
Telling myself, no your not hungry”
Then after 5 min into my project, the craving went. Sometimes, I drink water. Also, never leave any food out that you can view, just another way to curb the mind of cravings.

At 65. I decided to take up the ukulele! It is more fun than eating!
When you take a class you need to practice every day. Wish I could post a picture of me teaching my grandchildren how to strum! When I played Jesus loves me my grandson said... " Grandma that music is from my church.
