The month seems to be escaping me already! We are already in our 4th week of the new year.
I have been in San Francisco for 5 days now, will return home tomorrow. I can tell I am walking a lot more than usual - my little toes both have blisters! But it is worth it - so many sites to see here.
Best,
Kathy

Yeah, it was a very quick month for sure. This week I haven't been able to keep up with my exercise, for logistical reasons.
I'll get back on it later today.
Friday, I am eating out, at a fancy fish restaurant, so I guess I'll see how that goes. It's a 4 course dinner, so I'll probably try and not eat everything :)

Hello !
I hope you are enjoying San Francisco, I was there in October for a weekend and I loved it :) I didn't do very well in terms of food, though, but when you are walking so much it doesn't really matter.
My week good so far, second week with my personal trainer and my legs are really feeling it. I can feel my muscles getting stronger (or maybe it is just soreness after soreness). My goal with her is to get fitter so that I speed up my metabolism and become more active overall. I have never been a sports person and I am enjoying this.
My weight is not going down that much at the moment, I need to revise calorie intake. I have changed to protein breakfasts and it is really making a difference regarding my morning cravings... :)
Good luck with dinner tomorrow, Trudslev, I go for dinner with my bf for our anniversary too, I will try to order fish since we are going to a nice restaurant!

I've been doing good with my eating these last few days. I have also worked out everyday but yesterday. I was wondering how often everyone weighs themselves. I've only been doing it once a week.

I weigh myself everytime I have worked out, so it really depeneds on how often I work out that week :)

This week I have again stated to do slight exercise (hurt my knee + had slight flu) after two weeks. Had a nice weekend trip with my wife + nice food so that has slowed me down some. But now, back in business!

Thank you, I try to weight myself at the same time. In the mornings so that it's a consistant measurement. The only time I have time to workout is at work. I'm afraid if I weigh myself too often and put on any weight for reasons like water weight gain I will get discourged.

I feel the same way you do, Techchic2010. I weigh myself once a week first thing in the morning.I also only hope to lose a pound so that if I have actually lost more it's a bonus! :-)

Thank you, Moneypenny. I thought I wasn't weighing myself enough. I see other people weighing themselves every day. I will continue to weigh myself only once a week.

When I was losing weight, I only weighed myself once a week because the fluctuations drove me crazy. Now that I am in maintenance, I'm weighing myself about 5 days a week to see how much I fluctuate.
Best,
