Weight has plateaued. Topic

Well guys it’s been 2 weeks straight my weight hasn’t changed. I have been doing my best to eat under my deficit but at times I did go over with my carbs or sodium. This has defiantly made me re-evaluate what I eat. I did hit 10k each day and went to the gym 3 times a week. Very discouraging but it’s a new week! Here we go time to make those changes!

Oh hun I am sorry sometimes we do everything as good as we can but it hard when we don’t see results , keep trying you are doing fantastic keep your head up and be proud

As long as you’re not gaining! Just keep it up !

Hi Jennn. It is a process for all of us that’s for sure.
Things that helped for me:
1) Consciously increasing my protein intake & decreasing my simple carbohydrate intake. More fiber. Goodbye bananas in my smoothie & hello to berries (especially raspberries).
2) workouts that get my heart beating, the sweat flowing & muscles sore. I have found I need intense workouts to make a difference.
3) A good night’s sleep on a regular basis. For me Magnesium & Ashwaganda were the answer to that.
4) I weigh in only once a month. Daily & weekly fluctuated just too much for me. Once a month gives me a better overall idea of where I’m at.

Unfortunately we all have to figure out what works best for each of us & that may take some time.
Good luck!

Check out some videos on Dr Sten Ekbergs channel. They have helped me a lot so far. Try to completely eliminate sugar as much as possible to control your blood sugar and insulin. Eat fewer meals. i have been doing 16:8 intermittent fasting and only eating two meals a day for a month now and have good results, eating no sugar and basically no bread.

Also, for exercising, anything that gets you huffing and puffing over long period of time like cardio will work against you for weight loss as it will increase cortisol which will increase insulin so your body wont be able to burn stored fat. walking is great for weight loss as it wont trigger cortisol and can also do High intensity interval training which will trigger cortisol but only a little as you are only doing it for 5-10 minutes.
