Hi U3753308- Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Good for you for taking charge of your health and making doctor's appointments and routine screening appts. Unfortunately, with Covid-19 many people are missing these, which is not a good thing.
Glad to hear you are staying hydrated and eating a variety of foods. Take good care, Joanna (MyNetDiary Dietitian)

Hi, I am just starting my KETO journey as well. My question is more technical,, I can't seem to get the settings on the site fixed to actually show the NET carb count, since that is the all encompassing stat to watch. In addition to ensuring all other nutrients are watched, but KETO doesn't work without the NET carbs being where they should be. The closest I come to processed food is say, olives . .hahaha So I'm not nutritionally concerned, just watching the carbs and can't see them with this tool. Please point out the step to see that stat instead of TOTAL carbs.

I have decided to stop Keto. My lipids were off the charts, and I typically have fairly good #s. I can only think it is due to the diet changes. My NP will check the #s again in 3 months saying it may take that time for them to normalize if it was Keto raising them. My HDL is usually really terrific, like 95, and it plunged into the 40s, for instance, and the LDL was elevated to 146. Yikes!
Now the hard part--finding a way to keep the weight off. I am still doing fairly low carb but not as much fat. Low cal count too but I find I am hungrier off Keto and have had several days where I was way over the cal count. So the next priority is to increase exercise. I am still fatigued but it is a must. Hopefully that will help.

Hi U3753308- It takes some trial and error to find which diet plan works best for your body. Good for you for working with a health care team and staying on top of your blood work! Perhaps the Mediterranean diet is a better fit? It is healthy for heart disease prevention and includes a wide variety of foods and people can lose weight on it.

Here are some resources to help you out-

Start back slow with the activity and listen to your body.

Thank you. I think the Med diet is a good one. I am still overeating but am wanting to keep losing so I am pressing on. Again, thank you. D

You are welcome! Keep us updated on your progress. You've got this! Joanna
