What about cooking for children and self in a hurry? Topic

I always need help with this. My kids are good veggie eaters, but they don't like a lot of the foods I do, such as tofu, tempeh, and most fish. They're carnivores and they like high-fat dairy. We keep kosher--no pork, shellfish, or mixing meat & milk at the same meal. Vegan is an option for me but not usually within their taste range. Any ideas?

When you say in a hurry, how fast are you talking? And are you looking for dinner options, or school lunch options?

Something I read once was to mix in some of the foods they don't like, with foods that they do like and make the food look appealing, such as arranging the food into the shape of a flower.

Various people at the organization I work at recommended this book: Kosher by Design: Kids in the Kitchen, by Susie Fishbein

Hope that helps!
