I’m struggling to figure out why I’m not losing weight.
This past month I’ve been tracking my food, counting calories and exercising 3-5 times a week, my workouts usually burn 300 active calories according to my iwatch.
Daily calories: 1300
Workout calories:300
Totally daily calories: 1600
I’m over 50, recovering from a recent hysterectomy.
I’m looking for advice and any suggestions.
Thank you

I would ask your doctor to do an extensive complete blood work. I just found out that I have hypothyroidism, possible lyme disease, dehydrated (even though I drink water), borderline diabetic, and deficit in several key minerals, some of which go back to the thyroid and not being able to lose weight.

Ask your doctor to do a 2 hour glucose tolerance check with matching insulin levels at time zero time 1 hour and time 2 hours. The insulin has to be checked. Insulin is a fat builder and it also inhibits fat from being broken down. Then once you have the information you then need to change your diet to keep your insulin from rising.

I agree with the others. I am experiencing the same thing, but not hitting the panic button just yet as I am seeing changes in measurements. Are you seeing any evidence of weight loss outside of the scales?
