Right now it is pouring again. This is getting ridiculous, 15 inches since Friday night and still raining. The worst we ever had was hurricane Ophelia with 17 inches and then 10 days later a tropical depression that dumped 19 more. There were low places in town that laid under water for three months after all that. Suppose to start clearing out Weds.
Did clear mid afternoon and I quick went out and logged 15 miles on my bike and walked the dog. Did not see much flooding, but it’s bound to start soon. All that water needs to go somewhere and if it can’t get to the river, it will pool in all the low spots.
Starting to try to get ready for our two month trip to Maryland to babysit. The good news is, with all the COVID shutdowns, I don’t have many responsibilities to cover. I mow the grass at church and got that covered today. I ordered a bike rack so I can take my bike north. Need to clear all the office work and begin to pack. This week is fairly busy, quartet practice and board meeting tomorrow, doctor appointment Wed, cataract surgery and singing for a birthday party on Thursday.
If you think about traveling, some of my favorite places are the Smokies, National parks in Utah, and my favorite is Glacier National Park. You said you camp? We are thinking of buying a little teardrop next year to help tour the mountain area of N.C. and Tennessee the next few years. We have been going to Maine in the summer, but looking for a cool place a little closer. Takes almost three days to get there from here.

Wow so many memories you two have made. Can not say you have not lived life to the fullest! 15 miles on a bike....I ride my stationary bike alot but the most I can get is 5 miles on it...my legs feel like jelly when I get off. You will be getting alot of exercise babysitting those little ones. I have mine and I think I"m gone to sit down form a minute and one of them will ask for a drink than you get that and sit back down and the other ask for one when you just asked him if he wants one also. I have a classmate in Jacksonboro Tenn beautiful there. You will love camping there. Don't over do it but I know God gives you strength for all that good work you do so my heart smiles for all that enjoyment of life I see your are doing!

Still raining, up to 16.5 inches now. I plants starting to root rot, they have been standing in water now for 5 days. Hopefully it clears out tomorrow.
We use to camp a lot. We started with a nimrod pop up trailer, then moved to a bigger Starcraft pop up. The next time we camped we just used our little Ford Ranger with a cap. We slept in the truck and set up a tent to store the kitchen , clothes, and whatever else was in the truck when we were traveling. We have been to or thru all the states but three.
Finally recorded a new low weight. Only .2 lb, but at least it was a loss. I have been doing all I could, but it was a long time at a plateau.
What is in Jacksonburro? We usually look for music opportunities. Festivals, music summer camps, groups that perform regularly at bars or restaurants. That is what we like so much in Maine besides the great weather. We average going to more than one music concert a day for four week.

We had in our life time 3 coachman campers and 2 campers went on back of truck. I think the biggest one was a 1997 coachman it was I believe 35 ft long. Favorite place to camp was down south Indiana in the cave and hill area...Clifty Falls and Madison County area. My friend is in Jacksboro Tenn...I believe lake Norris. But in her area alot of parks Cucumberland and Cove. Can not tell you about and music or bar/restaurant areas. When we camped it was in a wooded camp ground area...hills, lakes, snakes, and wildlife. We liked the nature. One time a deer walk right under our sun port and looked in our door. I teased my husband he was a snorer I said he heard you thought it was another deer mate calling. When he passed away in 2005 I sold everything. Partially wanted to help daughter in schooling, partially to many memories to handle and partially need to lower my expenses of living. I wish anything had it back now. Didn't have boys today...stayed on my diet gooood. I remember when my daughter was a little girl how I ate also...took the last bite on her plate made her mac and cheese alot and now same with boys...I must brake this habits. When by myself eat so good. Well gone to go outside for a bit have good evening.

We enjoy nature also, but my wife is not mobile enough to do hikes, so I have to go by myself if it’s anything more than .7 mile. She broke her ankle 25 years ago in Prague and it has never been the same.
Finally I the rain has past! Going to mow the lawn next. Got the church lawn mowed yesterday even though it misted most of the time I worked.
Pray for me tomorrow morning. I have the first eye surgery for cataracts. Hope it turns out to be as great as other people talk about. Hoping to be done with glasses, but even more hoping to be seeing better with or without glasses.

You are in my prayers...hope eyes surgery goes well. I have friends that have had them removed had no problem and can see so much better. Glasses are a pain in the rear....I use to wear contacts but my allergies seem to have got worst and contact don't let me see as well as glasses. Every now and than I put them in. Had the boys today went swimming it was warm out but the water was cold because our night have been wonderful cool and relaxing...beautiful nights. Stayed pretty good on my diet...we have a family reunion July 4 lots of food...hope to do well that day. Really not sure about going with the virus still strong. Cut up some strawberries for tomorrow..have the boys rest this week and all next week than Wed following week and she is done with her internship. I love my grandson but they are all boy what one can't think of the other can. The worst thing I think I have with them is their eating habits awful and jumping on furniture...I don't allow. I have been craving lemon desserts I found greek Dannon lite and fit lemon yogurt and it is so gooooood....only 80 claoiries and 2 point on Weight Watcher....I can have! I bought 8 of them so I'm set pretty good. Wishing you the best with your surgery...prayers will be with you!

Surgery went fine. Not seeing that well yet, but that is to be expected. Everything in my right eye is much brighter and more colorful, but still a little fuzzy. Bought so e shorts and a top yesterday. I have gone from 44-46 pants down to 38 and from 3X shirts to XL. Found a worker at the flea market I volunteer at that let me in(it’s been closed) and got some more shorts, pants, and a shirt. Pretty good now except for summer shirts.
Hurrah! Finally I lost some weight. Down almost two pounds. It had been about a month without a loss. I think it is going to get harder and harder as I go from here.
We use a lot of sugar free puddings. 30 calories per serving. They come in lemon. Also chocolate , vanilla, banana, and pistachio.

Ah so glad your surgery went well. I have heard from friends it does take a few days to see better. I think 1 of my friends said after 3 days could see better and color so much better but I think she said week or 2 for her to see 100%. Wow congratulations on you new cloth sizing. I remember when I lost weight long time ago I tried on dress pants and I told my daughter to get me a size smaller and she said they didn't have them but said try on the 11/12 and I said no I have never fit in that size..she said smile and try. They were alittle lose. That is great your down that much! Weight lost make you feel so much better, comfortable in clothes, and motivation to the soul. I have some pudding in cupboard I need to start fixing things better. Well I have been think about your surgery thank you for letting me know your well!

Well my quartet sang for a birthday party in a restaurant last night. It was a Big room and only three tables. So we could stay pretty well 8-10 feet from their table and we stood 6 feet apart which makes it harder to hear each other. We did well. They ask for five songs which I thought was a bit much, but they paid us well, so we accommodated.
May be our last gig for the summer. My tenor goes on vacation in 9 days and I lea e for my daughters mid July for two months.
Got in an hour of walking and an hour of biking today. Trying to make up for all those rain days. I want to lose three more lbs before heading to Maryland. I know dieting there is going to be hard. I ordered a bike rack so I can at least take my bike. With all the hills up there, I should have some challenging rides.
Do you have any trips planned for the summer?
