Hey team!
As someone who is very comfortably situated in the middle of the thirty-something pack, I'm finding my weight is a bit.... stubborn. What works best for all of you to kickstart the downward momentum of the scale? Do you dive to the bottom of the calorie continuum, or do you leap into more exercise a week?
Love to hear your tips...

I did both :) I exercised like a madman every day for weeks and also consumed the minimum calories. The first week was a bit slow and discouraging, but my weight loss really picked up momentum over the following couple weeks. It really propelled me ahead and got me inspired to see the pounds shredding off!

It is diet, low carbs lots of protein and water.

I just started the dr oz challenge and find reduced calories do work, but if I feel too hungry or crave something I make sure to make up for it in exercise. My parents sent me great german christmas candies, so those ridiculous 700 calories I just had for desert cost me an hour of riding the bike at 14 mph. Not sure what is worse... lol

If I am eating well and low calorie I start adding more exercise. In the past, I have lost weight through exercising for more than an hour a day. To really kick start weight loss I will really focus on low calorie diet and walk for an hour in the morning and work out intensely for an hour in the evening. I also add lift free weights with short breaks in between. So basically my answer is both.
