Where does the mynetdiary name come from? Topic

I looked around on the website and I couldn’t find an explanation and so I figured I would just ask. I assume it has something to do with either net calories or net weight loss or net carbs.

Great question!
MyNetDiary has been around since 2005. This was before the era of smartphones. The name comes from keeping a food diary on the internet or "net." Back then users accessed MyNetDiary through the web app. Today, most users access the app through mobile devices.
