I don't know if anyone knows...
When logging pitted fruits, should we be weighing them with the pit?
I saved my cherry pits and stems to see the difference. While bowl was 120g. Pits and stems weighed afterwards, 11g. So, there really isn't a big difference. Most of the weight has to be water in the fruit itself.
But it's stuff like this that always makes me give up because I don't know how to weigh. So I don't. Then I just stop weighing and logging.
So, if anyone knows, thanks!

Hi Sunshine&Berries - you can always post questions to me directly on "Ask a Dietitian" forum area. But to answer your question:
If the food item is a whole piece of fruit and listed by size, then it is providing an average EDIBLE WEIGHT for that whole fruit. You don't need to take off the weight of the pit.
Some folks prefer to measure the weight of the edible portion of fruit they consume. That is just fine - when you enter the weight, you don't have to do anything else.

Thank you. Not weighing pits would be my preference, lol. :)

Is there a feature to log my Doctor Visit and update my weight loss?

Hi Francismcgovern, update your weight in the "Weight" row in your app or in Details tab in web (Current Weight). MyNetDiary will calculate weight loss to date for you.
You can log and track a number of measurements from your doctor's visits. See "Measurements" row in your app or in Details tab in the web program. Maximum membership gives you the full range of options.

I'd like to know how to log vitamin and supplement intake during the day. I take Isotonix products (some that I have found listed on the food list) in the morning, with meals and then again at night. Is there a simple way to group these eg (AM Vits, PM Vits) so that I don't have to add them individually?
thanks

Hi Kristastoker-
I think the easiest way to track supplements is by creating a custom tracker for each supplement you take or in your case each group of supplements. In order to do this you must have the Maximum membership. Maximum membership unlocks all the goodies such as tracking medications and creating a custom tracker.
I hear ya- it is important to track supplements!
Once you have this, click on the green Diabetes tab at the top of your screen (when on a laptop). You will then have the option of either labeling your supplements under the medication tab or creating a custom tracker (these are essentially the same thing). You will also have the option of creating a custom label for your supplements. Each day go to the diabetes tab and track your grouping of supplements.

Hi! I recently got an Apple Watch that records an estimate of calories burned during the day. Should I add all of these to my Exercise daily (my activity level is set to Sedentary in this app)? Or should I only include calories burned during exercise?
