Who is exercising? And why? Topic


The statistics say "9 of this group of 214 exercised in the last 24 hrs". Since exercise is so good for almost everyone and we are trying to lose weight, why isn't the number higher? Is the membership of 214 inaccurate, or do you record your exercise somewhere else/ nowhere else so that mynetdiary doesn't reflect it, or is the vacation season on us and we are taking it easy? I just started here, have no axe to grind, just looking for what works.


It would not surprise me if 9 was a true number. I know it is the hardest thing for me to motivate myself to do. All the self reasoning, still doesn't get me out and doing it.


I'm addicted to gym . I go almost everyday and workout for the minimum of 90 minutes. I use it to be more focused at work than loosing weight. :)


I am a pretty active person so I don't log cardio unless it's a lot of cardio. I've been working on doing my weight training but its not a habit yet so it can get sporadic. I love going to a gym and taking classes but it's outside my budget at the moment.

I don't always log, but I'm a big believer in staying active. I know I always feel healthier that way regardless of weight.

Who is exercising? And why?
