When I first started my plan to lose weight and get healthy, the weight seemed to fall off.. NOW every pound is a struggle! Why???


You have already lost just about 50 lbs - that is fantastic!
As you get closer to your goal weight, it just gets a little harder. Our total energy expenditure decreases as we lose weight so that means a slighter lower caloric intake or slightly more calories burned from exercise to continue to lose weight at the same rate.

Sometimes it can be helpful to shake things up a bit, and add a little extra activity to your regular routine. For instance, add something different for 1-2 days a week.
Also, a slower rate of weight loss seems to work well for a lot of us when we get closer to our final goal weight. Looks like you averaged nearly 2 lbs/week wt loss since July. Perhaps a goal of 1 lb/week might be less frustrating. Looks like you 1ost 1 lb last in the past week.
I would celebrate your weight loss to date! You are doing great. Try to be patient. It will come off - just be as consistent as you can in tracking and be as accurate as you can in logging.
