So do I need to burn as much calories as I eat?

Hi Nolan3- Welcome to MyNetDiary!
If your goal is weight loss- the app will guide (when you first sign up) you to establish a calorie goal. While exercise is important for optimal health it is not required for weight loss. So to answer your question, no you do not need to burn as many calories as you eat.
