I started this app last Thursday weighing 195lbs. I weighed yesterday and I weighed 184.3lbs. I only eat up to the recommended calories then I stop eating.

It’s that to much weight to loose in a short time?


If you were consistently losing a large amount of weight then that would not be good, but the first week is generally a big loss, so I’d be pleased with that. You’ll probably find that next week onwards the amount will be smaller.

Welcome to MyNetDiary! I am thinking you have lost a lot of fluid as part of your loss after starting your new lower-calorie nutrition plan. I would make sure you are drinking plenty of water and calorie-free fluids to stay hydrated and I am glad to hear you are eating the recommended calories daily. As Charlotte80 mentioned, it is common to initially lose a large amount of weight but it will probably taper off. Keep us posted! Brenda (MyNetDiary Dietitian)
