Congrats on your weight loss so far. I feel you about the "little wins". No one understands how much a 1 or 2 pound loss is, especially when we have 100 to loss.

I have to give my big brother credit, he took me shopping yesterday to celebrate my first 20 lbs. It was extremely awesome to have someone excited for me, but then I came home and tried everything on for my husband and his unenthusiastic response was so depressing! I am not doing this for anyone but me but I thought he would be happier or more excited/supportive of my weight loss.

I think it's hard. I find myself obsessing over every little thing I put into my body. I'm sure my boyfriend is getting sick of it, but you're right. You want to share, but with who???

Glad we have this group here for support.

I took a few months break from dieting to focus on my career and now I'm back at it. I am a size 22 looking to be a size 12.

Looking forward to stories of your progress for motivation.

Good luck on your goal! I started at a size 24 and so happy already with my results!

I have found that for me it is easier in the first part of my day to eat healthy but by the end of my shift at work (1:30 in the morning) I am craving junk.

So right now I am focusing on my late night cravings and will power.

Keep up the good work! I gained a lot of weight doing thirds and I'm prou of you for undertaking this challenge with so many other stressors.

My family also is not actively looking to lose so cooking and shopping are hard. And my hubby is always nice when I show him I dried my pants and they're loose anyway, but Icertainly don't get the jumping up and down squeal I'm looking for! I'd love a text/email support, too. Let me know if you're still interested.

Oh! I reset my stats so it would recalculate my daily target calories. I was surprised I lost 50 calories with as little weighy loss as i have had! it scares me to think about the future calorie goals getting lower. I started in December and I've lost 19 lbs. I haven't kept track of inches but maybe I should.

Congrats on the weight loss! I totally understand what u mean by little "wins" and sometimes to me little "losses" as well.

My husband is really supportive but does not seem to get the little stuff.

Hello everyone, I'm new too, and like Doll have a hectic life- work full time as a nurse and then run a cattery business outside if work, renovating my house and the list goes on. Like you, my hubby doesn't seem that interested. I really struggle as sometimes when I'm really tired and he is working shifts he encourages me ..... talks me into actually....getting take away for dinner. He also thinks nothing of coming home having been to supermarket and picked up all sorts of treats- bottle of wine, HUGE bars of chocolate, extra large cakes or multiple packets of biscuits. I CAN do this but sometimes when I'm low or tired if the food is in front of me I struggle to resist. This dieting needs super emotional strength! Hope to find some support and friends who understand. On a positive I have calorie counted with the app on my iPhone everything that has crossed my lips and since Friday morning have lost 3lbs. Although I'm super busy I have my iPhone attached to me like an extra limb so always having a quick check on here. Good luck ladies for a fab week! Xxx

Doll head you could plan for it by taking healthy snacks to work or waiting in your car. If you eat something healthy you will be able to resist the junk.

You are doomed! You two as a pair need to have a chat. Not when tired, not when hungry & not right after supermarket splurge. What take out could you buy that would not skyrocket your calories? Possibly a Chinese meal for one & side of extra vegetables for the two of you? Small single dark chocolate bar or tell him a fiber one brownie. Table spoon of wine into low sodium club sofa. Cake will NOT be touched. Leave at work or kids teachers lounge or into freezer but out of sight!
