Getting to macro basics and exercise to ramp the weight loss back up. I have lost 47 lbs since June but weight loss has stalled lately. Wishing myself the gift of discipline in all my endeavors. Any advice is welcome. Thanks to all.

I lost 40lbs total. The first six months I lost 20lbs and I plateaued for 2 months. I just kept up the calorie counting and exercise then lost another 20lbs. Just be patient and continue with your regimen, don’t give up :)

Congrats on your progress so far, Jackie3454! A loss of 47 lb is fantastic and will have lasting health benefits. Take it one day at a time, know that you are not perfect (and don't need to be), and never give up. For stalls, I think shaking up the activity or exercise routine can be helpful. I also check my beverage calories- I sometimes get into trouble during the holidays when I drink too many calories. And I don't mean just alcohol - sweet lattes, extra coffees with extra sugar/cream, etc.
And Justjennie, a great shout-out to you too! Congrats on your weight loss too! You must be in maintenance now?
