Hello, everyone. I just found this site through an article in Diabetic Living. I have the Android app and use the web site also. It is easier to use the web site to enter information with.

Hello everyone. I finally accepted I am Diabetic Type 2. It took a while but I accepted my fate on February 2, 2018 when my doctor warned me to get it fixed now or within the next ten years I will be facing serious health consequences.
Since February 2018, I've been on a DASH diet (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension), regimented exercise program 7 days per week, and taking prescribed medications. I've lost 30 lbs. and my cholesterol levels are at normal levels. Blood pressure is also within the range of 90/60 to 120/80.
I decided yesterday to start using this app to track what I am consuming. Up till yesterday I was guessing my caloric intake. These last two days, I've come to the conclusion I underestimated my caloric intake, overestimated my salt and sugars consumption.
There are other apps I am using on my iPhone 6Plus to track all activities. Apple Watch 3 – track exercise activities. Renpho – digital bathroom scale, to track daily weight gains/losses. Apple health app - tracks all activities, exercise and diet. Lastly, MyNetDiary to track my daily calorie intake and meal planning.

It would help if I could set up notifications for when someone posts or comments on a blog or post.

It depends on your preferences. However, I find it easier to enter data on the android app. This way you can use the barcode scanner.
