Hello - new to MyNetDiary and group Topic


Hello everyone - I am starting today to lose some of this excess weight that has been slowing me down and to get fit and healthy. I am a 48 year old professional woman, married to a fabulous guy who is supportive and thinks I look great no matter what but I want to like the way I look and know I will feel better at a healthier weight. I am looking to help anyone looking for support, friendship and hope to get the same.


Hi, I started tracking for the exact same reasons. I had some extra weight and was feeling sluggish and was getting concerned about my health. I changed my diet and exercise, started exercising, and started tracking my food--for me, the tracking has been the key to keep me honest. I have tracked everything for the past 4 months and lost about 15 pounds, but more importantly I feel a lot better and have a lot more energy. How is it going for you so far? Good luck!

Let's do this - I had a rocky first couple of weeks but have recommitted myself to making July a great month. I am working on some mini-goals so goal #1 is to get down to 130 lbs and cut out all junk (no sugar, no alcohol, no diet soda) plus move intentionally for at least an hour a day.
