Hi all,

Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. Name's Mark. I've been using MND since the beginning of October. The results of a physical in September alarmed me enough to motivate me to take control. So far, I'm down 42 lbs. Shooting for 60. That will get me in the "healthy" part of the BMI scale. More than that, I will have taken charge. For me, that's more rewarding than any number I might see on the scale.

If I can help or contribute something to the team, I'm happy to try.

Cheers Mark! I just figured out there is a discussion forum here. I've been using MND off and on for years. Hoping to actually stay true to it this time around. Been recording food for 10 days now. Good to see other people staying positive and sharing success.

Using MND for first time, liking the ease of use, but know I've a couple of "cheat" days coming up and some business travel. Crossing fingers I can stay on track even with those bumps in the road!


Hello group, my name is Jaclyn and I've been using the mobile app for a couple of weeks and just decided to check out the online site and groups. I've had issues with my weight all of my life and lose to just again gain it back. I'm pretty motivated this time, being 46 I realize it's now or never and with a STRONG family history of diabetes and an elevated glucose level at my last physical I finally had a medical reason to motivate me rather than an aesthetic one. I'm down 12 pounds over the past 3 weeks, making sure not to take in more that 1200 cals/day and trying to increase my physical activity. I'm looking forward to our combined support during this process.

I had a blip of a weekend but am coming back strong calorie wise, and even contemplating a short walk before the rain comes this evening!
