I'm new to this team and relatively new to MND. I started out (this time) at about 215 just before Christmas and I'm now about 193.
I say "this time" because a LONG time ago I was about 240 and found a precursor to MND in a program called "DietLog" which ran on a Newton. It had fewer foods but you could build you own. My concern was primarily just to be healthy and to eat less fat with weight loss secondary.
Over the course of a couple of years I ended up at about 130 wearing size 28 jeans. The good news was that it was a sustainable lifestyle choice the bad new was this was too thin and I was still shrinking. So I just stopped logging and for many years floated around 160 just based on eating habits and my level of activity.
Then I retired and with diminished activity gained weight slowly so here I am recording food and activity again. I feel better already.

Congrats on getting started again! MND has really helped me be aware of what I eat!
