How did those of you do, that were in "Matthew's" path? Topic

We live in Jacksonville, Florida (NE Florida) and we had a lot of strong winds, rain, and some huge trees up rooted. Some structure's needed some "band aids." We didn't evacuate, b/c we live on the West-side of Jacksonville. All the beaches did evacuate though.

Food wise, I did OK through Saturday. We of course didn't have electricity for a day and a half (not long), and I missed tracking my food and drinks on here. On Sunday, I broke down, left the house, and went and bought some Dunkin Donuts. They were good, but, I'm so glad they are all gone now. So, I did gain some "donut weight."

I'm going to try and eat a decent supper tonight, and keep on keeping on. I want to lose weight more than I want to eat "crap."

Emergency meals can be tricky when the power goes out. You might already have this type of info, but here's a guide on what to keep or throw out after loss of electricity. Stuff in the freezer can actually hold for up to 48 hours if it was truly frozen and the freezer is kept shut.
