Recipe Database, new and powerful

MyNetDiary provides hundreds of Premium Recipes, carefully crafted by our registered dietitians. Or, if you know the recipe you want to cook, you can enter it into MyNetDiary yourself or import with the Recipe import tool.

What if you don't know a good recipe to fit your diet and calories, your macro goals, or your taste preferences? Sure, you can try searching the web. There are many popular recipe websites, but to find exactly what matches your needs may require a lot of searching, browsing, nutrient calculations. That's a lot of work and a lot of time.

MyNetDiary's new Recipe Database to the rescue!

Just in time for the holidays, MyNetDiary's new Recipe Database is the cooking companion you want in your kitchen. With access to over 370,000 recipes, you'll find enough eat-in inspiration to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.

For example, powerful filters for macronutrient ranges help identify recipes if you require specific macros, such as keto, low-carb, low-fat, or high-protein. And it's just as easy to find recipes based on meal type and cuisine.

Find delicious-meets-healthy recipes by looking for the red chile cookbook icon

From the app: Go to the Me tab, then tap Recipe Database (see below).

A robust filter function

The MyNetDiary Recipe Database becomes more customized with its robust filter function. Suppose you are following a low-carb diet. You can search for low-carb recipes that meet all kinds of criteria. For example, if you want an entree recipe that is less than 400 calories, 10g of carbohydrate per serving, and gluten-free, you enter these parameters into the filter function and voila! You have a list of recipes from which to choose. Save the recipes under My Foods and make them a "favorite" to retrieve them easily for tracking.

Stay on track with your weight-loss goals by preparing recipes based on macros

MyNetDiary's premium membership allows you to customize your macros based on your diet plan, and Recipe Database enables you to find recipes quickly that meet these parameters. MyNetDiary uses 45% carb, 20% protein, and 35% fat as the default recommended macros or macronutrients for weight loss. For a 1,400-calorie diet plan, this translates to 158g of carb/day, 70g of protein/day, and 54g of fat/day. Yet, a multitude of different eating plans are considered healthy and also contain different proportions of macronutrients.

There are 12 different preferences, including dairy-free, gluten-free, and peanut-free recipes. Let's say you want to deliver a home-cooked meal to a friend. You know she is a vegetarian who includes dairy in her diet. Set filters by main course + lacto vegetarian, and you'll see a host of ideas.
