Hi all! My name is Mary and I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a couple weeks away from my 31st birthday, live in Texas and am training for a marathon. I lost 26 pounds recently but have hit a major plateau in the last few months. I'm hoping this website, along with my running, will give me that boost I need to get over the hump! Any words of encouragement or advice would be appreciated!

Hi Mary. I live in NC and just recently started running b/c I finally corrected some foot problems with surgery last year. I coach track at a local middle school and like to run with my athletes. Like you, I've recently lost about 30lbs, and I'm at that last 10 or so to lose. I love this site b/c I don't have to count points or try to figure out how much protein or fiber I've had. I was going crazy trying to keep track of everything! This diary is the best thing I've come across and I've told everyone about it. Use it from my iphone all the time. Keep me posted on your progress--hang in there. I'm right there with you!

I need some help with something and I was wondering if any of you know how to do it.... on the activity and exercise part when it asks you for The Met, Kcal/lb/hr, Kcal per unit For instance if I went spinning for 45 min and burned 300 calories how would I input that? please help

Hey YMCA girl, I had the same problem. Unfortunately i couldn't consume the fibre needed in food so i took a supplement which works a treat. if your interested. Heaped spoonful every morning in water or orange juice.
