I'm off to spend the day and night there. Wish me luck that I don't overeat, or at least not much. They always barbecue. Sigh. I'll do the best I can, but I want to enjoy myself too! I only get to go there once a month or so.

I see you're starting the Holidays early. My daughter is a vegetarian. Sometimes she eats fish.My mother, daughter and father are vegetarians, but I just can't hang. I hope you didn't overeat.

Hi Dd! Of course I overate, lol. It's not often I get someone else to cook a meal for me, and my daughter and her husband are both fantastic cooks. She's vegetarian too, by the way. We were both vegetarian for many years when she was growing up, and she just stuck to it. I try to eat a couple of vegetarian meals a week, but mainly I eat chicken. I love fish, too, but it's too darn expensive these days to buy.

I bought a faux suede and fur vest two days ago that is almost a size too small. It's not supposed to come 'til January. Hopefully, that'll keep me from overeating over the holidays. I get help to pay for my food, but I can't see buying a whole lot of vegetables and leaving out meat.

That's a good incentive not to overeat over the holidays. I should buy something a size small like that, too. I eat better in the fall, winter and spring. In the summer the air conditioning bills here are so high I really have to scrimp for food money, so don't get as much fresh food. I wish I could get help with my food, but I make 100 a month too much to qualify for foodstamps.

I ate 903 calories today. I've got to get my average for the week down slightly below 1200 calories. It's 1249 calories as of today. Sunday is the day I usually splurge. We'll see.

My calories are higher than yours since I weigh more, and I calculated my exercise in. I'm still playing around with them to see what will make me lose. The week before last I lost 2 pounds, and today I gained 6 ounces. I'm thinking that was water though so I'll see how it goes tomorrow. I'm so tired of being hungry!

My BMR is 1500, but I am trying to stay around 1200 calories. The website says I weigh 197 calories, but I gained four pounds. I don't log when I gain most of the time, only when I lose. I've been at 201 for about almost a month now. Although I am exercising more, I was also taking in more calories. I'm stopping that now.

I know I get hungrier and eat more when I exercise, and I don't think my body burns the calories that it should. Sigh. Anyway, I overdid my walking yesterday so I'm laid up with my back today. Sometimes it seems like we can't win!

I eat five meals a day and rarely get hungry, unless I miss a meal. It's rather inconvenient when you can't afford to buy snacks, but, in the beginning, I was losing weight like hotcakes and no matter how small my meal is, I'm rarely hungry.
