What counts as water...for tracking Topic

Hi,
This might sound obvious, but when tracking water, should I be including all liquids? Right now, I am doing water, diet sodas (a guilty pleasure!), and coffee, beer, etc.

However, should I be logging soups and smoothies?

As background, I urinate all the time, like every couple hours, and brought it up with my PCP. Had tons of urine, blood, even prostate and kidney exams and all normal. Then I started tracking water on this app and I drink a lot of fluids, like crazy, I'm the guy w/ the water bottle always next to him, ha. I also eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, which I know are pretty high in water, too.

Thank you!!

Hi Dndicicco-
Welcome to MyNetDiary! All sugar-free liquids besides alcohol, count towards your daily fluid needs. Though no need to count soups, smoothies, and fruits/veggies.

This is perfect, thank you so much! Yes, I used that article to spearhead my baseline and noted that I can set different glass sizes in the settings.

Awesome!

I received a notice that My niacin (DRI Tolerable Upper Intake Level was high. It said that I consumed 133.7 today. I ate a lot of shrimp yesterday alot more than I usually do. I can't find what I ate today had that much in it. I also checked my vitamins also

Hi there U1195937894-
Welcome to MyNetDiary! Thank you for reaching out and letting us know about the notice regarding Niacin. We are working to update the colors that appear if someone is slightly over particular nutrients for the day. Going over with your niacin, generally is not a concern. However, 30-50 mg/day can cause flushing. When taken in higher amounts (from supplements) such as 1,000-3,000mg/day of nicotinic acid, can be harmful. Hope this helps. Best, Joanna (MyNetDiary Dietitian)

Hi again-
You are not alone~ Many people find it easier to meal prep, plan and stay the course at the beginning of the week when they have more time and bandwidth for health goals. Might you try setting aside some time mid-week to reconnect with your eating and exercise?
