I have been trying in vain to edit a recipe. Read Dtacks problem, he must have left. Everything in the post I have tried and NOTHING WORKS! I really getting upset about my inability to find the food I need or the ability to edit!

You click the recipe you made, hit "edit" and then edit it. It WILL come up with a blurb stating that you should rename the recipe because if you used it in other days it will change the calorie and information for those days too.
I edit recipes all the time and never had a problem.

It hasnt changed the nutritional value so now it reads 93 carbs for one cup and for one tbsp. So frustrating that I cant know my carbs.

Edit: the carb value is equal to the entire recipe for one cup instead of the entire salad. It does change for the different sizes but there is no changing the value, or at least I havent figured it out. At this point I would prefer they be deleted entirely.

Folks, I read and respond to questions directly on "Ask a Dietitian" forum (the very first forum) on most days of the week. I would be happy to look at any recipe to see if I can help troubleshoot.
Send me a friend request & a note with the exact recipe name I should view.

Kathy I am the OP and at this point I am beyond frustrated with my net diary. What I would really appreciate is if you would delete the following recipes that I put in. They are as follows:
1- Sue's dinner salad with egg
2- Sue's Greek Salad
3- Sue's dinner salad with no tomato or egg
4- Sue's Eggplant Parmesan
5- Sue's Lunch Salad

Hi One-headlight, as consulting dietitian, I routinely check the "Ask a Dietitian/Diabetes Educator" forum. I check these other forums when I have time. So I am sorry I didn't respond earlier. You can always send an email directly to support@mynetdiary.com as well if you don't get a reply here.
You can delete those recipes by logging into the web program (using your account name & password), then:
Food tab
My Foods (top left)
Show Custom Foods (top left)
Find food group you assigned to your recipe ("Brands" is typically the default)
Find your custom recipe, use the Action drop down box to select "delete."
