How can this be useful for me, other than counting calories? Topic

My first post(:
its more about how MyNetDiary works rather than gaining weight.

I changed my "goals" today after happily gaining 500grams in the first week by using MyNetDiary.
But when the goals were changed, all the food I had yesterday disapeared from "Food" and it seems like it all starts at the beginning when the goals are changed.

I love charts etc, but what is the point of them if they are not dynamic, following the changings?

The only thing I find interesting to see is "the average % of nutrients eaten" in the charts section. Am I missing something here?

Also, adding an exercise will automaticly increase my goals for daily intake of calories. I dont want that because my goal is the same weather I exercise or not.
Is there a setting to change this?

Other than that - Thank you MyNet Diary - Perfect for counting calories/Nutrients.

Hi Myorep, if you "start over" then you will wipe out your data so avoid doing that.

Your data will not clear out if you simply update your current weight or change your weight loss or gain/week goal or target date.

Tip - update your current weight regularly so that your target calories update too.

If you want to see your target calories without adjustment for exercise, then you can see that on the upper right hand corner in FOOD tab in web program, or in apps, in My Plan, Daily Food Calories. Don't enter a weekly exercise PLAN if you don't want the system to add the expected daily average calories burned to your target calories. Entering an expected exercise plan will increase target calories but just logging exercise as you perform it (without an exercise plan), will only adjust calories upwards in Daily Analysis).

Please read the calories article and let me know if you still have questions: http://www.mynetdiary.com/customizing-calorie-goals.html
