Omad diet :lost 8 pounds in 4 days but feeling lightheaded every time I stand up anyone else like this

Hello Itzme,

Thanks for posting!
Sorry to hear you are dealing with the lightheadedness. Here are a few ideas:
- Make sure you are keeping well hydrated. You likely have lost a lot of water weight with 8 lbs lost so quickly.
- Consider increasing your sodium intake temporarily (unless your doctor has advised you to limit sodium). Broth can be a great option as it gives you fluid and sodium.
-If you take blood pressure medication, monitor your blood pressure, and check with your doctor to see if you need to decrease your medication.
- Check in with your doctor if this continues.

Hi Itzme,
I lost 3.5 lbs in 3 days and I’m also experiencing dizziness when I stand up paired w/ ringing in my ears.
My best guess is not enough nutrients &/or calories in our daily diet?

I regularly drink a lot of water so I’ll try to increase my sodium intake

Hi RedAlmond,
Thanks for posting. I would be suspicious about you being a bit dehydrated. Many people find drinking some broth can help. You could also try easing up on your diet a bit to see if that helps.
Please check in with your doctor if you take any blood pressure or blood sugar lowering medications, or if your symptoms don't improve.

Hope you are feeling better soon!

Best,

Just started the Low Carb hoping it will jolt something and the weight will start moving. Anyone out here have any advise?? Meal wise or anything else??

Greetings Chell65- Some people find eating low-carb helps them to avoid sweet treats, processed foods, which in turn help to lower triglycerides and improve blood sugar in addition to weight loss. Here are some resources that can help with a low-carb diet.

This resource helps you set yourself up for success with MyNetDiary and low-carb. Monitoring fiber intake while on low carb is very important as dietary fiber helps to keep you regular, keep you full and prevent disease. Make sure to get enough fiber on a low carb plan.
